Oil on Canvas, Charcoal

I have seen hundreds of photos of the Pittsburgh skyline at night. Instead creating a realistic painting portraying this, I went for more of a whimsical portrayal. The yellow of the bridge draws a great contrast to the cobalt blue sky. The use of charcoal gives it a slight pop art look. I also placed emphasis on the reflections and lighting to show the time of day.
